Diwali is the Festival of Lights, and celebrated every year to spiritually simplify the victory of light over darkness (or good versus evil). In India, millions of lights shine atop housetops and around temples. It is a stunning site.

This year, Chef Navjot Arora has the honor of cooking a very special feast at the James Beard House for Diwali. But we didn’t want to leave those out who couldn’t attend this exclusive event.
