Looking for the best places to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day in Westchester? Check out some of the local eateries offering some Irish grub (and in some cases tunes) this Tuesday…

Dan Rooney’s Sports Pub

In addition to the Irish offerings found on their regular menu, the pub at Empire City Casino is offering specials like fish and chips ($15), corned beef and cabbage ($19), a Guinness burger served on a pretzel bun ($15) and their signature Irish brownie sundae with Guinness, vanilla ice cream and whiskey caramel sauce ($9).

Katie’s Cottage

Known as the “friendliest and liveliest Irish bar-restaurant in Yonkers,” this town favorite features Irish standards like corned beef and cabbage and shepherd’s pie on their St. Patrick’s day menu. Also available will be a sizzlin’ 12-oz shell steak; fish and chips; and an Irish dish of bangers, mash, and beans. The Pipes and Drums of Westchester will be performing at 6 p.m. on St. Patrick’s Day with Martin Kenny and Big Bamboo at 9:30 pm.

Yard House at Ridge Hill

With a beer menu that stands up to Irish pubs year-round, the Yard House at Ridge Hill is pulling out all the stops for St. Paddy’s by introducing beer-braised corn beef brisket, a grilled corn beef sandwich, and shepherd’s pie. Drink specials at their sports bar include green beers, a cinnamon Guinness and various mule cocktails.

The owner of the Garth Road Inn, Sharon Crowley, is being honored as New York County Cork Woman of the Year. The traditional Irish restaurant will be featuring live Irish music and Irish dancers all of St. Patrick’s weekend to complement favorite Irish fare.

Emma’s Ale House

This Best of Westchester-winning White Plains establishment has an entire menu dedicated to St. Patrick’s Day, which will be available to order from March 14 (the day of White Plains’ parade) to the 17th. Favorites include the Guinness braised beef stew and the Rooney Burger. There will also be live Irish music performances on St. Patrick’s Day.

The Butcher’s Fancy

Looking for some takeout? Head over to The Butcher’s Fancy in Yonkers for some corned beef and cabbage to take home. Other delicacies include Irish boiled bacon and specialty imports from the Emerald Isle.

Spillane Group Restaurants

All the Spillane restaurants—Mickey, Molly, and Maggie—have great menus for any occasion, but, as you’d expect, they go all-out for St. Patrick’s Day. Stop by Mickey Spillane’s in Eastchester for all-day corned beef and cabbage. There will be performances by the Ann Henry School of Irish Dancing as well as the New York State Pipe Band.
