Join me for Hudson Valley Restaurant Week! #HVRW

by Katie Schlientz
Hudson Valley Restaurant Week

This year, Hudson Valley Restaurant Week runs March 9th to March 22nd, and includes over 210 restaurants in Westchester, Rockland, Putnam and Dutchess Counties. The three-course lunch ($20.95++) and dinner ($29.95++) prix fixe menus keep the price point low enough to get a taste of a new eatery or visit to an old haunt more than once throughout the event. (To see the full list of restaurants, click here!) Make sure to share those #HVRW photos and recaps with IntoxiKate on Fork This, Instagram and on the IntoxiKate Westchester #FoodieNation Facebook page.

A #HVRW Date with Kate

While I usually visit two or thee restaurants each year during the “week,” this year I’m challenging myself (and my fellow foodies!): I plan on visiting SEVEN restaurants during the duration of #HVRW and I’m asking YOU to join me. My plans are below—I’d love to see you! If you’d like to join me, simply sign up below for the restaurant/time that works best for you. I’ll be making reservations by 2/6, so let me know by then by!

On the list:
105-Ten Bar & Grill: This place has been on my list, and I figured, what’s the point of restaurant week if not to try new restaurants? 🙂

Harper’s Bar & Restaurant: I’ll take any excuse to hit up Harper’s local fare. Super stoked that the crispy Hudson Valley duck—my favorite dish—is on the menu!

Cedar Street Grill: Matt and Joe Kay are so much fun to hang out with. Love the energy (and the roasted Brussels sprouts) at Cedar Street. If you need me, I’ll be at the bar after dinner enjoying a Haymaker.

Nonno’s Trattoria: The Empire City Casino has so much more to offer than gambling. I’m really looking forward to the restaurant week menu and meeting their new executive chef!

Saint George Bistro: For my French fix!

Sonora Restaurant: I have a total foodie crush on Chef Rafael Palomino. While I’m there, I’m hoping to pick up one of his Latin-influenced cookbooks and get it signed.

Zuppa Restaurant & Lounge: I’m heading to Zuppa for pasta! Fingers crossed the trofie twisty pasta in braised lamb ragout diced pumpkin is on the menu!
