If you are a foodie like me, you are hosting the best Super Bowl Party in Westchester. Even if your team isn’t playing, it’s a great opportunity to gather family and friends to watch the big game (and a great excuse to experiment with some fun recipes in the kitchen). But take it from me—the hostess with the mostest—it’s always nice to have a few items ready to pick up so you can concentrate on the fun stuff.

Here are the game day VIPs—aka the BEST resources in Westchester—playing a supportive role to the action in the kitchen:

6-FOOT (TALL) HERO

Head To: Empire City Casino
Super Bowl Special: Okay, so it’s not food. But if you’re a Giants fan, you don’t want to miss former legend David Tyree in the casino’s Entertainment Lounge at 5:30 p.m. on game day. The first 100 guests get to mingle with Tyree and score a signed mini football.
IntoxiKate Recommends: Dan Rooney’s Sports Pub is offering a $35 per person buffet menu (don’t miss their wings!) paired with $5 Bud and Bud Light drafts.
Go: 810 Yonkers Avenue in Yonkers, www.empirecitycasino.com

{UPDATE:  The biggest stage to watch the biggest game of the year is Empire City Casino with New York Giants Legends Justin Tuck and Stephen Baker. Both will be stopping by the premier entertainment destination in the Northeast to host a viewing party on Sunday when the Atlanta Falcons take on the New England Patriots for all the marbles.  Tuck and Baker are filling in for David Tyree who had a last-minute conflict.}
