Move over Nutella! There’s a new chocolate hazelnut spread in that pantry! With a much more pronounced hazelnut flavor than its competition, Nocciolata Organic Hazelnut Spread is lighter in consistency (think sauce) but still manages to be rich on taste. Imported from Northern Italy, this sauce is made from organic, simple ingredients like hazelnut paste, cocoa butter, skim milk, brown sugar, sunflower oil, and vanilla.
While I spread Nocciolata on my morning toast, I think it’s perfect for dipping pretzels and slices of green apple (love that sweet and sour combo). Put a dollop in the microwave for a few seconds, and pour the hot sauce over your favorite ice cream.
