June 25th, members of the Westchester #FoodieNation gathered poolside at the Castle Hotel and Spa in Tarrytown to enjoy passed appetizers from Equus Restaurant and Spiked Seltzer. The photo recap is below:
When you think of the Castle, the grotto and pool may not be the first spots to come to mind, but are one of the most beautiful in Westchester.
Loved these baby carrots with crème fraiche and poppy seeds.
Spiked Seltzer, available in new flavors, is also now in a can! Perfect for packing that cooler for the beach! Although I enjoy it on its own, the lovely people at the Castle added the seltzer drink to a lemonade-blueberry and lemonade-strawberry concoction. Delish!

The Castle Hotel & Spa’s Poolside Summer Pairing Series occurs every Thursday from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. during the summer season. Reservations are required for each event. Call 914-631-3646. Tickets are $68 per person plus tax and gratuity.
