It’s no secret that I’m an Irish lass—one look and my roots are apparent. My St. Patrick’s Day parties and well-known, and I’ve lined up more than a few crockpots full of corned beef and cabbage for friends and family.
While Ireland isn’t exactly well-known for its cuisine (they do more than a few things really well—shepherd’s pie, fish and chips, and bangers and mash), their pubs are widely recognized as a community hub—a place to relax with a pint and some friends, listening to some live tunes.
That’s why I love Molly Spillane’s. The pub quickly captured that same Irish spirit, offering that same community feeling, good eats plus a frosty pint, and some live tunes in Mamaroneck. Even better? The eatery holds dedicated evenings for those in service positions—teacher appreciation and firefighter appreciation, to name a few.
