The Greenwich Wine & Food Festival featured a lineup of elite food-focused personalities—Man Versus Food’s Adam Richman, Chef Marcus Samuelsson, and our own local celebri-chef, Christian Petroni. But the thing I love most about food festivals is finding new goodies I can share with fellow foodies. This year’s GWFF had no shortage of delectable goodies, so I’ve rounded up a few of my favorites to share…

Creator Pooja’s test market started with family and friends. Her ice cream line, Malai, has grown expedentially since then, and features spices like cardamom, ginger, and nutmeg to create robust, yet refreshing flavors. IntoxiKate favorite? Orange fennel!

Food festivals always have a plethora of #MenuCrave, and The Spread wasn’t in short supply. The culinary geniuses behind the South Norwalk hot spot most recently opened El Segundo, a global street food eatery already receiving rave reviews.

With a name like Wooster Street Meats, you may think you’re about too order up some slamming prosciutto. Although these Italian food-inspired tee shirts won’t satisfy your craving for salty meats, they will certainly share your love for them. The tees, tanks, and onesies come wrapped in butcher’s paper and featured Italian and Kosher favorites.

With the perfect balance of spices and sweet tomatoes, Manny’s Ultimate Bloody Mary Mix pairs perfectly with your favorite vodka, or can even be enjoyed on its own virgin-style. Simply pick your poison, mix, and serve slightly chilled (I garnish my Bloody Mary with a pickles and bacon).

Dana and Julie, the creators behind The Granola Bar, served up some food with sass at the Greenwich Wine and Food Festival. But I am officially mildly obsessed with their creamy cashew yogurt. Two locations—Greenwich and Westport—offer an inventive menu with plenty of options breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

If you’re a fan of Kathie Lee Gifford, you know she loves her wine. So it’s no surprise she teamed up with Scheid Family Wines to create Gifft Wines. Offering Chardonnay, Rosé and a Red Blend (the IntoxiKate favorite), all varietals are available for under $20. Cheers!

The holidays are around the corner, and the party season will be quickly upon us. That’s why it’s always fabulous to have another friend in catering! Simply Delicious Catering is that—simply delicious! Forget the traditional pigs in a blanket and upgrade your menu with prosciutto, fig, and arugula flatbreads or roasted eggplant skewers.
