Best Places to go for Mother’s Day in Westchester

Mother’s Day is May 10th, but there are plenty of places to celebrate mom on (and before!) Sunday. Check out some of the best places to go for Mother’s Day in Westchester below:

Friday: Sherry B Dessert Studio

Bring the children by the Sherry B Dessert Studio in Chappaqua to make a special gift just for mom from 6-8 p.m.! For $25, guests can decorate four flower cookies and assemble them in a flower pot. Reservations need to be made ahead of time, and of course, there are plenty of other gift basket options perfect for mom!

Saturday: Ridge Hill

The Mother’s Day celebration starts early at Ridge Hill with a fashion show, crafts, and food and wine tastings. White House | Black Market’s fashion show starts in the Town Square at 1 p.m., with a card decorating station for the children sponsored by Whole Food Markets.

Sunday: Hastings Flea Market

Sunday, check out the Hastings Flea Market where local vendors gather to sell everything from vintage furniture to clothing, jewelry and more. There’s plenty of activities for the whole family paired with acoustic tunes and Southern comfort food from Chef Johnson’s Food Truck. . Goodies for mom will also be available, including exclusive coupons for Mother’s Day brunch and dinner at local top restaurants.

Sunday: Farmer & The Fish

Reservations are available from 12-4:30 p.m. at the Purdy’s eatery, where the three-course menu runs $65 per adult and $35 per child (12 and under). Expect the seasonal bounty and sea-fare the restaurant is well-known for; tuna tartar and scallop ceviche, a raw bar, and traditional lobster bisque are just a few of the starters to choose from.

Sunday: Alamo Drafthouse Cinema

Does mom love to sing show tunes on long car rides? Than she may enjoy the Alamo Drafthouse Cinema’s special screening of MAMMA MIA! Sunday at 12 p.m. The movie— starring Meryl Streep, Pierce Brosnan, and Amanda Seyfried—is paired with a four-course themed brunch and wine pairings for $45 per person.

Sunday: Equus Restaurant at the Castle Hotel & Spa

Treat mom to something special with the four-course dinner at Equus Restaurant. The tasting menu ($95 per person) is also available with an optional wine pairing ($135 per person).  Expect delicious options like white asparagus and lobster, roasted Long Island duck with creamy polenta, and Guanaja chocolate fudge cake. Reservations available between 12-7 p.m.

Sunday: NoMa Social at the Radisson Hotel

Executive Chef Bill Rosenberg designed a special Mother’s Day Brunch in the Empire Ballroom between 12-4 p.m. The buffet ($36 per adult; $17.95 per child 12 and under)  features complimentary mimosas and champagne. Large parties are welcome; reservations are required in advance!
