I’m a lucky lady for a couple of reasons:
1. I have had an outpouring of support for this new little venture of mine. #intoxikate #blessed #thankyou
2. I am incredibly humbled each time I see my byline next to some of the greatest writers in the county in The Journal News. (Shout out to my fellow foodies Liz Johnson, Megan McCaffrey and Karen Croke!)
Once in a while, I get a chance to check out the newest restaurants to hit the Westchester dining scene. Ernie’s Wine Bar + Eats, the new kid on the block in Bronxville, happened to fall in that category. To read the full article, please visit LoHud.com, and be sure to check out Philip Hedger and his eclectic list of wines. Looking to be more of a wine connoisseur? Hedger hosts classes. Check the events page to learn more.
IntoxiKate Tip:
If you fall in love with one of the wines at Ernie’s, know going into it that it will be a short love affair. All of the wines on the menu are from small wineries who produce limited quantities.
(Okay, here’s another one!)
IntoxiKate Tip:
The Cellar Room seats eight people, and can be reserved. It’s the perfect spot for a small, intimate wine and cheese party (think adult birthday party).
