Sip Like a Queen: Lyndhurst High Tea

**everything’s coming up roses**

Is it too early to be thinking about next weekend? I’ve got a confession—I’ve been thinking about April 6-7th since I visited the Guest Cottage at Lyndhurst for a sneak peek at the Flower Show’s High Tea. In between interview takes with News 12’s Lisa LaRocca (love her!), I was able to snap a few photos and chat with Saint George Bistro’s Chef Chris Vergara and Michelle Adams (Hastings-on-Hudson) about their contribution to the Show.

While you can get a glimpse of the design arrangements created by over a dozen of Westchester’s finest florists within the rooms of the historic mansion, I think the cherry on the top of this event is the High Tea. My food fanaticism aside, who wouldn’t want tickets with Vergara and Adams at the helm? These two have created the restaurants of my dreams AND celebrate food experiences of days past with fresh perspective—from cocktail hours to cooking classes to (you guessed it) high tea.

The Lyndhurst High Tea is hosted by Saint George Bistro and Seasons On The Hudson and takes place in Lyndhurst’s unique and charming estate cottage. Tucked between the beautiful seating, fine china, and silver teapots, you can find the restaurant’s scrumptious tea sandwiches, canapes, desserts, and Teagevity Tea.

$150 includes food, a glass of sparkling wine, tea, and gratuity, as well as entry to the Flower Show and Antiques Show. Grab those tickets now: Lyndhurst.org/flowershow
