Support Local Businesses Affected by the Tappan Zee Bridge Demolition Postponement

Restaurants with riverviews—Pier 701 Restaurant & Bar, Rivertown Taphouse, The View on the Hudson, Sambal Thai & Malay, Half Moon, and Hudson Farmer & the Fish—worked very hard this week to create community events commemorating the history—the Tappan Zee Bridge demolition. With many locations quickly filling up with reservations, ingredients were ordered and food was prepped.

This afternoon, the construction company behind the demolition of the bridge made an announcement they were postponing demolition due to ‘high winds’ Saturday morning. A new announcement is scheduled for tomorrow, announcing the new date.
