Walk-Away Wednesdays at Watson’s

by Katie Schlientz April 19, 2016
written by Katie Schlientz
There are days I like to go out to dinner and then there are evenings I prefer to come home and cook. And then there are days where I’m so tired (or so crazy busy!) that I don’t really have time for either, let alone grab a bite to eat. In this case, I know most of us go for what’s easy—drive thru, anyone? wink wink!—but what if we had a more delicious pick up option?
Thanks to Watson’s, Best of Greenwich Winner and full service catering and event firm, you have a healthier hump day solution. “Walk-Away Wednesdays at Watson’s” allow you to pre-order your meal (TODAY by 3 p.m.!) and pick up your meal between 12-5 p.m. on Wednesday.
A few week’s ago, I was lucky enough to experience the “walk-away” experience. That week, dinner for four included:
• Chicken breast filled with artichokes, olives and boursin. I’ve mocked this several times since then!
•Cabernet braised boneless beef short ribs… Seriously tender and delicious.
•Roasted cauliflower puree (My new favorite side dish!)
•Zucchini ‘noodles’
•BBQ pulled pork
•Cheddar chive biscuits
•Dulce de leche crispies
Um, yes please! The various dishes came packaged perfectly, complete with reheating instructions.
Wats-1

This week’s (Wednesday, April 20, 2016) menu includes:

EACH DINNER SERVES FOUR
Cabernet braised short rib stew  $120
Broccoli cheddar tots
Grilled chicken paillard “Milanese”  $90
(arugula, red onion, tomato salad, parmesan cheese)
 Broccoli cheddar tots
Thai pork lettuce cups    $40
Having a dinner party and don’t feel like cooking?
Order a few of our dinners and feed the whole party!

Menu changes weekly
Pick-up is from 12:00 to 5:00pm each Wednesday
Orders must be placed by Tuesday, April 19th at 3:00 p.m. All orders must be pre-paid with a credit card.

IntoxiKate Dim Sum Party at WUJI

WUJI

[av_textblock size=” font_color=” color=”]
If you haven’t heard of WUJI yet, you need to get your finger on the foodie pulse in Westchester. The newbie on the Scarsdale scene has quickly expanded—Rye opened a a few months ago, and another spot in Greenwich, CT, is set to open in late spring. It’s no wonder owner  Jody Pennette, founder of cb5 Hospitality Consulting, is expanding so quickly. The brand, focused on offering fresh, organic Chinese food, has an extensive (delicious) menu paired with some serious style, providing a winning combination for sharing great food with friends.

I know a good meal when I see it, so I reached out to the team at WUJI to plan a stellar event. Reserve your spot below for the IntoxiKate Dim Sum Party May 3rd at the Rye location. {Menu also below!}
