Husband-and-wife team Scott and Heather Fratangelo have whipped up more than a few ways to celebrate Valentine’s Day at L’inizio! The L’inizio Pasta Box for Two ($125)—including home made dry rigatoni, a jar of their classic marinara sauce, bar corn, pink marshmallows, linzer cookies, and much more—is available all month long. The Valentine’s Day menu—diners choose three courses for $75 or four courses for $85 per person (dessert must be one of the courses)—is available Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. This truly farm to table Rivertown eatery offers their three-course Valentine’s Day menu February 12th through the 14th both in-house and to go. Top dishes include Arancini with homemade fennel sausage, arborio rice, and whipped ricotta; Steak au Poivre with whipped potatoes, goat cheese, and spinach; and for dessert (one option per couple) the Red Velvet Skillet cake served with vegan or local vanilla ice cream.
