Last weekend, I headed up to Copake, NY, for the FarmOn! Foundation‘s Hootenanny, a dinner benefitting local Hudson Valley farms, and showcasing the products and produce from the area. With Chef Jean-George Vongerichten cooking up in the kitchen—using vegetables, fruits, meats and dairy from minutes away—we ate elbow to elbow with farming families who make an unbelievable contribution to our community. As the FarmOn! tagline says, if you ate today, thank a farmer!
I don’t crave sweets. I crave charcuterie. And I was a huge fan of JACüTERIE at the FarmOn Foundation’s Hootenanny, a benefit dinner featuring Hudson Valley produce and goods.
(A little birdie told me they can be found at the Pleasantville Farmers Market and Down to Earth Markets in Ossining)
