Hudson Valley Restaurant Week ends this weekend, so there’s only a few days left to take advantage of the three-course lunch and dinner deal. Eastchester Fish Gourmet is participating until tomorrow, but that doesn’t mean you’ll miss out on their great offerings—the restaurant has an early bird special dinner menu, with dishes discounted for those who are on a budget.
With some of the freshest fish available (just stop by the market next door to get a good look at the catch of the day), prepared in several different ways—baked, fried, steamed and tossed with pasta—plus chicken and steak options, there’s enough variety to satisfy everyone in the family.

With Lent in full swing and a menu full of fish options, the eatery is the perfect spot for a Friday lunch and/or dinner!
For those who enjoy a good raw bar and martini, Eastchester Fish has you covered. Pair that “shaken not stirred” cocktail with a dozen Little Neck clams on the half shell ($1.95 each). The eatery also has a few different oysters ($2.50 each) to choose from—including Beau Soleil, Blackberry Point, Blue Point, and Wellfleet, ranging from sweet to briny. Heads up: Eastchester Fish also serves homemade red and white sangrias, that are perfect with any appetizer (not included with the Restaurant Week deal).
While there’s plenty of greens to choose from (it’s hard to pass up the Peeky Toe Crab & Avocado Salad), try defrosting from the winter chill with a bowl of one of their soups ($8). The New England clam chowder was super creamy with tender chunks of clam.
While there’s skate, bass and lobster to compete with on the regular and #HVRW menu, try one of the eatery’s most popular dishes: the parmesan-encrusted cod ($26). The fish, with a slightly salty finish thanks to the cheese, delicately perches over sautéed spinach, tomato, asparagus, and artichokes.

Feel like cooking? Stop by the Eastchester Fish Gourmet Market to pick up prepared meals and some of your favorite (never frozen!) fish filets.
If you’ve saved room for dessert, try the old-fashioned sundae ($10) made with local favorite Jane’s Hudson Valley Ice Cream. If you’re holding off on the colder desserts until much warmer temps (yay, spring is around the corner!), try the Crispy Angel Food Cake with crème anglaise and dulce de leche ice cream ($9).
